Feldenkrais Class 2 by Baby Liv: Crawling

  Again, natural movement...

Actually, at that age, a child's skull is incredibly soft and as capable of withstanding the support of the floor. The firmer contact is what enables her movement capacity.(irenelyon)

This is a montage of a little baby named Liv doing what babies do during their first year of life.

It is the second video we've produced. Be sure to visit the first clip:http://youtu.be/D9Ko7U1pLlg

In this second clip titled "crawling", we highlight the importance of a child learning movement from the orientation of them being on the front side of their body.

It is from this orientation to their environment that the motion of crawling begins.

We show how using curiosity, exploration and a variety of movement possibilities is an innate part of learning from the beginning, and this highlights key learning principles within The Feldenkrais Method

This has been compiled from a year of footage taken in Whistler, BC. Visit www.thenext25years.com for more information on the project.
